Born in the backroom, it's Stihl Timbersports® for retail and logistics.
Right now, hundreds of thousands of people at major retailers, distribution centers, and warehouses around the United States are loading and unloading 53ft trailers by hand. "Throwers" place boxes of various sizes onto a rolling line, while teams work together to load, unload, and sort the freight.
This is true when it's punishingly hot in the desert and suffocatingly humid in the Southeast. It's true when fires rage in California, and it's true when the Rust Belt and Northeast freeze and when blizzards roar on the high plains. It's true when it rains for months in the Northwest and when the trailer is covered in slippery liquids like soap, oil, and laundry detergent.
Sore and tired from the day before. Yawning well into the night. No matter the conditions, trucks must be loaded and unloaded. This is true every day of the week, every day of the year except Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Cargo Champs uses a performance-weighted, sabermetrics-style scoring system to gamify the freight management process. We built it for the people who do this work, the people who christen boxes with their sweat and sanctify brands with their hard work.
The resulting sport encourages peak performance from worker-athletes, entertains spectators, offers brands unique awareness opportunities, and generates actionable insights for retailers and logistics companies.
Personal glory. Sporting excitement. Marketing power. Operational intelligence — Cargo Champs uses data-driven storytelling to nurture a valuable ecosystem for its players, fans, and B2C/B2B stakeholders.

Talent Engagement & Recruitment
Energize and attract worker-athletes ...
Cargo Champs is more than a leaderboard. It’s a talent magnet and activation system.
Gamifying freight management attracts high-performing worker-athletes and encourages peak performance from them on the job.
This creates a virtuous feedback loop: better teams move freight faster, which boosts product throughput. This, in turn, creates a performance-driven culture that boosts morale, accelerates product sales, and reinforces a sense of community at the store, city, and national levels.
Case Study In Q1 2025, Cargo Champs helped Walmart #2031 in Union City, CA reduce average unload time -22 minutes vs. the 2024 EoY average.
Production & Distribution
Low cost and ready to go ...
For less than the cost of a regional ad campaign, reach a Super-Bowl-sized audience using channels you already own. Capturing just 10% of your workforce, 10% of annual store visitors, and 30% of social followers unlocks a 100M person audience.
Shoot content on site and/or at a purpose-built arena with transparent trucks and real-time tracking tech. Partners at local universities assist with content creation and editing. Total annual production costs are less than the CapEx associated with opening a new store.
Leverage the largest private workforce in the world. Get instant, low-cost distribution via existing teammate apps.
Capture just 10% of a million-person workforce, and you're already bigger than the audiences of niche sports like National Lacrosse League, Major League Rugby, and American Ultimate Disc League.
Capture 20%+, and you're competitive with Professional Pickleball, Pro Bowling, top-tier eSports, and even some professional wrestling and MMA events.
Distribute in store and via social for an even broader reach. Timbersports, CrossFit, and Red Bull command audiences in the millions. Build to that and Super Bowl, World Series, and Final Four audience sizes over time.
Retail Entertainment
Harness the power of fandom ...
Broadcast live and past throws in community-centered, retail-native viewing lounges where fans gather to support local heroes and throwing legends.
Share local and national leaderboard updates in real time.
Generate $20M+ in net new revenue via low-overhead, high-margin business lines. Combine merchandise, snacks, worker-athlete sponsorships, fantasy leagues, brand tie-ins, and digital content to create a low-cost revenue flywheel.
Brand Partnerships
Marketing and sponsorship opportunities ...
Imagine a brand christened with sweat, sanctified by the hard work of the very people a company wants to reach.
CPG companies, outfitters, domestic goods companies, and tool manufacturers sponsor all or a portion of a truck. Cases covered in their logos exit the truck second after second, creating a fast-paced, authentic, and unforgettable sponsorship opportunity.
This offers brands an authentic, fast-paced awareness opportunity that allows them to connect with customers in a unique way.
Fuse awareness and action. Accelerate revenue growth by integrating truck sponsorships with viewing lounge displays. Combine awareness with immediate point-of-sale opportunities. For example, a national laundry detergent brand sponsors a truck and pays premium stocking fees to display bottles inside the viewing lounge. As customers exit the lounge, the product is prominent and ready to buy.
Combined with retail entertainment revenue, this unlocks $50M+ in new revenue: a 10x ROI on production and distribution spending. Laundry detergent, workwear, food and drinks, housewares, tools -- charge brands a fraction of the cost of a Super Bowl ad to target 50M+ people, not once a year but day after day after day.
Powerful Telemetry Data
Operational intelligence for better planning ...
Cargo Champs turns real-world performance metrics into real-time operational intelligence.
Telemetry tied to unload times, truck conditions, claims, and other KPIs help retailers and logistics companies track throughput, fine-tune operations, and benchmark efficiency.
These insights help improve freight planning, incident response, labor management, and overall supply chain operations.
SaaS licenses give B2B customers access to one-of-a-kind fright and workforce data. Capture just 1% of the total addressable market for retail, warehouse, logistics, and workforce analytics, and you unlock an additional $100-300M business line.

In Q1 2025, #2031 decreased average truck unload time 28% (-38 minutes vs. the 2024 EoY average). During that three-month period, average truck size did shrink 31% (-634 fewer boxes per truck). However, CAP 2 still posted a 16% increase in its collective "speed bonus" vs. the 2024 EoY mean.
This cornerstone Cargo Champs metric doesn’t just reward speed. It measures individual performances against the running average unload time, and it rewards throwers and teams for handling complex trucks that contain more boxes and fewer pallets.
In essence, this means we can attribute 16 minutes of the overall decrease to smaller trucks. But the remaining 22 minutes belongs to #2031's CAP 2 team. The team and throwers worked better/harder/faster as trucks decreased in size, team members remained the same, and variables like breaks, claims, and teammates on the line remained steady.
Having ruled out all other key variables -- and considering that we saw three record-breaking "legendary throws" in in Q1 2025 -- it's fair to assume Cargo Champs contributed in some meaningful way to the substantial decrease in unload time.
